Lunar Phases. The lunar phases in our calendar are provided by the Ka Mahina Project and are listed in accordance with the phase of the moon at 8 PM, specific to the island of O’ahu. Why 8 PM? We agreed that when we think of the moon, it’s most often the moon we imagine in the evening sky.
Artwork. Artwork by @malie.moana. The artwork for each month measures 8 x 10-in so that when the month is over, you can cut it out and frame it as a print. Easily our favorite feature of the calendar.
